Almost anyone who grew up in the days of the classic black and white television shows can remember the music and excitement of the Lost in Space television show. Perhaps the best part of the entire show was the B-9 Environmental Control Robot.

Genuine Lost In Space B-9 Robot

This tall, mechanized robot added a bit of comic relief to the show. It was also the sidekick to the Will Robinson character. Perhaps the most memorable line uttered by the B-9 robot was its alarm. “Danger Will Robinson, Danger!” This was typically followed by a great deal of arm waving and spinning.

Now you can own a piece of history. The genuine Lost in Space B-9 robot is the greatest treasure available for collectors of this genre. Can you imagine anything more perfect than a six and one half foot tall robot ready to do your bidding? This amazing piece of animatronics is remote controlled allowing you to do everything from turning its torso left and right to activating its soil sampler.

Down To The Smallest Detail

Great pains have been taken to reproduce as much of the detail as possible. The makers even used the original molds which were pulled from the archives. This replica of the B-9 robot is no cheap plastic knockoff. It is literally made from steel, acrylic, aluminum and fiberglass. Imagine your friends’ amazement when they see a genuine looking B-9 rolling around with its lights flashing.

Even the ear sensors on this museum quality replica are animated. Perhaps one of the greatest features of the B-9 robot is its ability to “speak.” It has a library of 511 phrases which it will play across its 240 watt audio sound system! Take note, these are not some generic phrases recorded by some unknown voice talent. These have actually been recorded by Richard Tufeld.

For those not up on their Lost in Space trivia, Richard Tufeld provided the original voice for B-9 on the TV series. What fan of the show can honestly say they can’t remember the sound of B-9 warning Will of danger? The genuine Lost in Space B-9 robot can do all of this and more. It would make a great present for anyone interested in sci-fi collectables. The best thing about it is that it is not simply a stationary collectable that will just stand in the corner and collect dust.

It will continue to be a great conversation piece for a very long time. How do you think your guest would react when you yank out B-9’s power pack and he calls out “Aaghhhhh…” like he did on the show? You could then get a good laugh at their genuine delight when the Lost in Space robot asks who turned out the lights. B-9 is a great collector’s piece no matter if you want it for yourself or are buying it for someone special.

Try to picture their face when you use the remote control to roll B-9 into the room with a big bow on his dome and tell them “Happy…”

Dimensions: 84”/210cm tall and 42”/105cm in diameter. Weight: 100lbs/45kg. Price: $49,999.95. Available from Hammacher.com.
